About Kevin
In 1995, I was transferred to NH to run a recruiting flight so we purchased a home in Canaan. We found we loved the scenery, the people were wonderful, there was great medical care, a good school system, the cost of living was acceptable, and NH was the State with the most freedom. As an avid outdoorsman, what NH had to offer filled that bill as well. Sarah met her husband, another Kevin, and we welcomed our amazing granddaughter, Ciara. They remained in NH while Peg and I continued around the Country in military service. Although we were transient, we always kept the Canaan home returning for holidays and vacations. Without even realizing it, we were putting down permanent roots. Ciara grew into an amazing young lady and is now married to her partner, Kelsey, rounding out our family.
Back in 2009 when the time came to retire, we had seen enough of the Country to know that neither NJ nor CT were where we wanted to be. They had changed too much since we were kids… or maybe we had. During all our years of travel, NH always held a place in our hearts and had, over time, become home. We also couldn’t help but notice many people around the Country thought very highly of New Hampshire. Conversations developed many times after people said they loved our license plate; referring to the “Live Free or Die” motto. It’s amazing how many people had visited our State and were not only aware of how lucky we are to live here, but perhaps a little envious too.
Over the past 25 years, I’ve watched NH start to change. Many of the reasons we decided to stay here are starting to disappear or change. We seem to be moving towards becoming North Massachusetts. Well, I like NH for all the reasons mentioned above. I want to keep New Hampshire… New Hampshire. So, after much consideration, I decided to run as a concerned citizen and neighbor for Grafton County District 9 Representative to try and help do that.
Please look this website over and learn a little bit more of what I stand for. More importantly, contact me and let me know what your concerns and positions are. Afterall, that’s what’s important. No matter what your political affiliation, I need to know what is important to you if I am going to help lead New Hampshire into the future we want it to have. I will listen. Together, we can make it happen.
